BUILT TO WITHSTAND NATURE
The Acorn Outdoor Stairlift has a series of special features to make it suitable for use outdoors. The stairlift rail and fixings are coated to make them corrosion-resistant. Plastics used for outer casings include a special additive which makes them resistant to temperature extremes or prolonged exposure to sunlight. Electronic components are coated to make them waterproof, an outdoor-use seat is fitted and the whole stairlift carriage can be protected with a fitted cover when not in use. The Outdoor Stairlift can also be disabled using a waterproof lockable key switch to prevent unauthorised use.
